Spring Session: 

Art Explorers: Watercolors

In this session of watercolor exploration, we'll experiment with a variety of color resist techniques, observe how color is absorbed into various materials, and create beautiful spray painting murals with liquid watercolor. Through the use of sea salt, wax, brushes, droppers, spray painting and more, children will delight in this fascinating exploration of watercolor.

Art Explorers: Clayworking

In this session children will be introduced to the wonderful texture of clay! Children will explore sculpting, molding, pinching and shaping the clay with various tools, cookie cutters, textured rollers, and natural elements.

Please Note: This class has a materials fee added to the cost of the class.  Parents and children should come dressed to get messy.

Summer Session: 

Art Explorers: Printmaking

This class will explore the many ways in which marks can be made. Children will experiment with both traditional and untraditional materials, such as fruits, vegetables, paper and yarn. The repetition inherent in printmaking is great for young learners because they get to experiment with a variety of textures and colors, and see how different materials react in a variety of situations.

Please Note: Parents and children should come dressed to get messy.
