Mama & Me, LLC, IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS:
Before registering and purchasing classes at Mama & Me, we ask that you take a moment to review our
cancellation and refund policies. Due to the advanced nature of our class registrations, we are often not able to fill
last minute vacancies created by cancellations or changes. Therefore we have created policies which we feel are
both accommodating to our customers and fair to Mama & Me, LLC. Please read the following policies thoroughly
before submitting your order. Thank you for your understanding.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
RESCHEDULING OPTION: If you sign up for a class and need to change the date for any reason, there will be a
$15 change fee for the work that goes into moving the information, reconfirming, and attempting to fill your space.
This option is good as long as you call us (617-372-7448) with at least 7 DAYS NOTICE. (Please try to give us as
much advance notice as possible.) At the time of rescheduling, you'll need to let us know which class you would
like to transfer into. Credit for the full value of the class, minus the re-scheduling fee ($15) will be given to the
customer towards the value of the class for which he/she is transferring into. No cash refunds will be granted for
any balances remaining on class transfers.
LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS:
Half Credit Option: If you need to cancel (for any reason) and you call us with at least 48 hours notice (but less
than 7 days before the class), you are eligible for a HALF CREDIT of your class fee to use for any future class.
Note, this is not a refund, but a credit. You'll have up to 2 weeks from the date of the class to notify us which class
you would like to apply your credit to, otherwise the credit will be forfeited.
NO SHOWS: No Refunds or Credits for No Shows: If you sign up for a class & do not call or show up FOR ANY
REASON (you got the date/time wrong, car broke down, you are sick, had to work late, etc.) the entire class fee is
NON-REFUNDABLE, nontransferable, and no future credit will be given - no exceptions. There is limited space
available in each class and many of the classes involve a minimum materials cost and considerable preparation
time for the instructors. When a seat is empty that could have been filled, we feel this is only fair.
Class Cancellations (if we cancel): If enrollment is below the studio minimum of 3 students, the teacher has the
right the right to cancel a class one week prior to the class. If a class is cancelled, you will be contacted using the
phone number and/or e-mail that you provided upon registration, and will receive a full refund or a credit for any
future class (your choice). Your credit will be good for 6 months from the date of the class.
FITNESS PASSES AND PUNCH CARDS: No refunds or center credit will be given for unused fitness pass classes
or junior gym/drop in art class passes. All 10 Class Fitness Passes expire 3 months from the date of purchase. All
10 Class Junior Gym/Drop in Art passes expire 4 months from the date of purchase.
PERSONAL FITNESS TRAINING/ PRIVATE GROUP CLASS CANCELLATION: All personal training sessions
require a 24 hour advance notice of cancellation once scheduled. All sessions cancelled with 24 hours or less
notice and no shows will be charged for the entire amount of that session.
WEATHER CANCELLATIONS: In case of inclement weather, Mama & Me reserves the right to cancel any and all
classes as deemed necessary to ensure the safety of its families and staff members. We look to the Newton Public
School Closing Announcements to help us determine the safety of the weather conditions. In general, when the
Newton Public Schools are closed, we will also be closed. If you are unsure, please check our website or call us at
617.372.7448 before attending classes.
We will do our best to offer make-up classes for those affected by the cancellation, however it is not always
possible due to time and scheduling considerations. No refunds will be given for any cancellation relating to
inclement weather. For details about specific class make-up policies due to weather conditions, please refer to our
Weather Policy.
